NEW INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY PROTECTS
WEBPAGE CODE FROM THEFT
BRISBANE, QLD (04 August 2003) - Multimedia Australia Pty. Ltd. today announced that it has integrated webpage design and HTML source code protection technology directly into the BestAddress HTML Editor, making it one of the first HTML editors on the market to offer this feature.
Termed "Source Securing", this new functionality promises to provide website developers with a convenient method to physically help protect their website design and code from theft using their authoring program.
Source Securing encodes HTML (the code used to design webpages) in a way that makes it almost unreadable whilst still allowing the resulting webpage to be displayed in a web browser without disruption to the webpage's design. Source Securing also provides options for preventing text from being selected or the right mouse button being clicked in the body of the webpage.
Creating a Source Secured webpage using the BestAddress HTML Editor is an easy process which simply involves selecting the option at the time of saving the file and then specifying the level of protection which is required.
